One connected team.Different disciplines. Shared outcomes.
The work

Make complexity work better.

OPTRIC brings technology services, operational expertise, and a unified approach together around one goal: helping organizations run smarter.

That takes people who can see the whole picture and still care about the details—people who listen closely, solve thoughtfully, and follow through. Whether your craft is customer success, technology, operations, finance, sales, or something else, your work connects to an outcome customers can feel.

How we work

The standard we bring to the work.

These principles reflect the kind of team we are building and the experience we want to create—for customers and for one another.

01

Own the outcome

Take responsibility beyond the task. Close the loop and keep the customer’s result in view.

02

See the whole system

Connect decisions across teams, technologies, and workflows instead of optimizing one piece in isolation.

03

Make it clearer

Turn complexity into useful choices. Communicate directly and leave things easier to understand.

04

Keep improving

Bring curiosity to the work, learn from what happens, and build a better way forward.

Why OPTRIC

Your work connects across the entire technology environment.

At OPTRIC, good work does more than solve a single ticket or complete a single transaction. It creates visibility, strengthens accountability, and gives customers room to move forward.

1

Broader perspective

Work across connected services and business needs.

2

Practical impact

Help turn technology complexity into measurable progress.

3

Room to contribute

Bring judgment, ideas, and initiative to a growing organization.

Business Development Representative (BDR)

RemoteFull-TimeSales
Apply for this position

OPTRIC is a fully remote company, and we’re hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales organization. No office to report to, no hybrid schedule, no relocation—you’ll work from wherever you live, anywhere in the US. The role suits someone who is disciplined, competitive, comfortable with outbound prospecting, and motivated by measurable results.

As a BDR, you’ll identify new business opportunities, generate qualified meetings, and build pipeline for our Sales team. You’ll work closely with experienced Sales Executives while developing the skills and experience needed to advance into a Sales Executive role through OPTRIC’s structured sales development and enablement program. Advancement is based on performance and readiness rather than time in seat: consistent quota attainment, the quality of the opportunities you generate, and your ability to run a sales conversation on your own.

The Tools

Real tooling, properly set up. You’ll spend your day in conversations, not building lists in a spreadsheet.

Salesforce is the system of record—accounts, appointments, and pipeline in one place, so nothing that matters lives in a personal spreadsheet.

Apollo.io handles prospecting and the activity that goes with it: finding the right contacts at target accounts, verified contact data, sequenced outreach, and your calls and emails logged as you make them. Your list is built before you start dialing.

Claude works alongside both for account research, drafting and personalizing outreach, and the list and data work that used to eat the first two hours of the day.

A handful of ancillary tools sit around those three, but those are the ones you will live in. We invest in tools because the alternative is paying a salesperson to do data entry. If you have worked somewhere that ran outbound off a shared spreadsheet, you already know the difference.

What You’ll Do
  • Execute consistent outbound prospecting through phone and email
  • Generate qualified leads and book 20 qualified meetings per month
  • Contribute to monthly revenue and pipeline targets
  • Identify new business and renewal opportunities within target accounts
  • Maintain accurate prospecting and activity records in Apollo, and appointment and pipeline records in Salesforce
  • Partner closely with Sales Executives to qualify and advance opportunities
  • Participate in ongoing sales training, coaching, and development
What We’re Looking For
  • Prior sales experience is valued but not required—we hire on ability and coachability
  • Clear, direct verbal and written communication
  • Confidence and professionalism on the phone
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach to prospecting and business development
  • Organization, follow-through, and personal accountability
  • Coachability—you take feedback and change behavior on the next call
  • The self-discipline to structure your own day in a remote environment
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, dedicated place to take calls
  • Experience in telecom, technology, B2B sales, retail wireless, or a call center is a plus
  • Experience with AT&T or other major carriers—T-Mobile, Verizon, Spectrum, Comcast, or Lumen—is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce or Apollo.io is a plus
Why OPTRIC
  • Base salary: $45,000–$65,000, plus a monthly performance bonus of up to $2,000
  • Potential on-target earnings of $69,000–$89,000 with all monthly bonus targets met
  • 100% remote, permanently—anywhere in the US
  • Clear career progression toward a Sales Executive role
  • Structured training, coaching, and mentorship
  • Salesforce, Apollo.io, and Claude, among other tools
  • A performance-driven culture focused on accountability, development, and results
  • The opportunity to build experience across a growing portfolio of telecom and technology solutions

OPTRIC offers a comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, and vision insurance; HSA and FSA options; a 401(k) retirement plan; life insurance; short-term and long-term disability coverage; paid time off with separate paid sick leave; and a competitive holiday schedule.
